New fuel pump not turning on..help!!
So I just put in a new fuel pump but when I put the key in the ignition turn it to on the fuel pump dosent go on....now I tested to see if the fuel pump works while it's connected to the harraness by using a car battery and some wire and plugging the wires into the plug then the fuel pump turns on so it's not the fuel pump and I don't know what it could be...can anyone help?!?....also I put in new fuel injectors and had to put in new connectors for the injectors could it be the plugs wiring are backwards?!?

Best thing one can do is buy a service manual, and take a look at the wiring diagrams, you can then do the necessary troubleshooting tests. I would suspect a relay problem, or wiring harness problems.
What are you working on anyway? if it's a Honda, probably main relay issues.

Also I test the plug where it connects to the fuel pump and there is no 12v power coming out of it tested with a wire by putting the wire on the negative terminal of the plug and touching the positive and there was no spark coming out of it

You don't own a multimeter do you? and your building a turbo car? have you checked your fuses? The main relay also is controlled by a time delay, key on, pump runs momentarily, than it turns off, you can hear 2 clicks of the relay when you turn the key on, one for pump on, then pump off, it turns back on once you crank.

if you spark the wires to test for voltage, you will blow fuses
go to your local harbor freight, or go here http://www.harborfreight.com/7-funct...ter-90899.html
set it to dc volts. without a multimeter of some sort, tracking down voltage/wiring issues, you might as well cut all the wires and put them back together with wire nuts
