Would getting braided steel line for mecanical fuel pressure gauges work or a turbo oil feed line? And how long is long enough but not too long for a D series?

 

take a piece of string...or vacuum line..or whatever..take one end-put it at the starting point..in other words do a mockup of where the line will be..then mark and cut it..use a tape measure and measure it..stainless braided line works fine btw..then do a search on places to get stainless braided line..or look on ebay...google works too
