Need lots of help: Sprinter Turbo (VGT) on D16z6
Alright, I am new to building my own turbo set ups. This set up has to be cheap, like stupid cheap. I am going to be racing in a claimer race, and it needs to be legitimately built while using off the shelf or homemade parts. I am trying to figure out the best way to set up a D16 from a 1995 Civic to run a turbo from a dodge sprinter van, the turbo is a GT2256V I think. Now I am pretty much starting from scratch here, and am hoping someone(s) might be able to help me figure a number of things out, first, no one makes a manifold or adapter for easy mouning on this thing. So, would I be better off making my own adapter, or actually cutting off a T3 flange and welding it onto the turbo? Also it is an elecronically controlled unit...I would love to continue to use the electronics, but have no idea how to. Also, I want to run 8psi-ish more or less as needed to make the engine live, as this is endurance racing. I need to know how to get the fuel system to keep up, and I would love to get a better handle on well...everything. As I said, starting form scratch and so any input or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
