Pickup some hand vacuum/pressure pump kit. You can use this to measure/adjust your bov. You can use this as an vacuum gauge to check how much vacuum your engine is generating. Most engine should have 18~25Hg. Hope this helps.

The Turbo XS units have a spring and washer type setup, meaning the spring is the base pressure and if you want to add to the spring pressure you simply unscrew the top and add the washers as spacers. Grab it with a pair of channel locks.

i had a bitch of a time with the knock off turbo xs. what i ended up doing was cutting the spring prettymuch in half and got it to open all the way. then added washers till it close when reving and then opened at an idle. and did that till i got a sweet middle spot and have been rocking it ever since.

is it a used BOV? my friend had that same exact one but he had it installed on the car for a month before he actually finished the turbo kit and put it to use. so the car drove around N/A with the bov installed next to the fmic and i guess the rain or something seized it up! i used wd-40 and had to pound out the center peice and reassemble the damn thing.
