Default LiL BOV bullshit...

Having a problem with my bov fluttering and not fully opening...I get 3 breaks a day at work, 1st @ 95, lunch @ 120, 3rd @ 215. On 1st break I haul some *** down I-75 and around town to go get a MO from the PO. I only get 15 mins. for break, so I had some fun getting there and back to work on time. @ lunch I go to pick something up to eat and noticed my bov(apexi twin chamber) sounded faint and like it was fluttering and not opening fully. So when I get back to work I pop the hood and do some investigating, and sure enough the vacuum line connected to the wastegate(external) nipple is busted. The line we used initially was cheap *** XSpower stuff I got with a set of oil and water fittings. The hole in the line wasn't big enough for most of the connectors on the bov, wastegate, boost t's, etc. etc. But we used what I had. Last night I went and got new LARGER inner diameter vaccum line and some small clamps. Come home and changed all that stuff(EXCEPT FOR 1 OR 2 VACUUM LINES) out. Vacuum at idle started off at 5...lol...so I had to work out a few kinks.
BUT NOW after LOTS of tightening and retightening I have my vacuum @ 20 when idling, and my car is building boost up to 7 psi when the wastegate opens. SO, I BELIEVE I have all the leaks stopped and sorted out, but my bov STILL doesn't sound like it is fully opening. There is an adjustment screw(actually nut) on the top of the bov next to the nipple for the vacuum line. But I'm not exactly sure how you make adjustments with that and what you would make adjustments for. Could me changing to a larger vacuum line maybe cause me to also need to adjust the bov. Just an idea I had thought about. I'm not some ricer whos bummed out because his RFL BOV isn't make real ------' loud noises when it's supposed to. My bov does sound like it is openig, PARTIALLY, but I realize that a faulty or no BOV can cause damage to a blower. I got $400 in a rebuilt .50 trim on a $15000 dollar car that I pay $420 bones a month in for. I don't need that turbo ------' up. Blaast rebuilt it and so far it's holding up well and is an awesome turbo, BUT I do see negative feedback about some of his business from time 2 time, so you can't help but have that on the back of ya mind. Anyways, long *** thread, sorry, cliff notes:
BOV fluttering and not opening strongly
All vacuum lines replaced, vacuum is 20 at idle, and it boosts up all the way like it should.
Need to get BOV to open fully, don't wanna ---- up turbo
Peace and I 'preciate it...

Where are you pulling your vac. source from for the bov? It should be after your tb.

Just go to some department store like princess auto that has some air tools. And you should be able to find some manifolds like that for 2-3 dollars. Then another couple of dollars for fitings.
