need help on wiring walbro fuel bump.
sup everyone.
my walbro is currantly wired to the stock relay, and i want towire it with thicker wires like everyone does, anyone have instructions or can tell me how to do this? ps, which relay i need? thanks |

Not everybody runs thicker wiring to it, but if you do you can use the same relay.

Couldn't you just wire it the way the stock one was??? Maybe run thicker wires but not sure it is mandatory.

NO, that defeats the purpose... Run the Power wire to the battery (or the alt post), run 10 gauge - (dont forget a fuse) to the relay you ARE adding... and use the stock fuel wire (coming form the stock relay) to switch the added relay, and in effect turn on your pump (S)

The curremnt drawn will be from either the alt post, or battery DIRECTLY... The stock lead will simply switch the new relay and allow the current to the pump (s)

so will it be ok just use the stock wire to trigger the relay and mount the relay near the pump and then run thicker pos & ground wires? ps what relay amptitude will i need? |
