Default Need Help with Intercooler....help..advise

well I'm going to buy a intercooler off a guy next week for $80 bucks....he bought it from ebay from AutoSS Crap....i know the turbos and manifolds sucks ---- ..but what about the intercoolers..? the intercooler is 24x9x3 big.... my set is :

1997 JDM B20B
Stock Internals
Walbro 255
DSM 450cc
Garrett T3 A/R 42
All piping -DSM- SMIC
3inch Downpipe
Internal Wastegate
Greddy BOV type S
Chipped ECU to run DSM with risistor box
AEM Fuel Rail
B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator
Boosting----7-10 psi
.....................................will the bigger intercooler (24x9x3) make my car lag..? would the bigger FMIC affect my setup..?

you might get a little more pressure drop than with a smaller, more efficient IC... but it'll work fine. I haven't really seen the end tanks on those SS auto intercoolers.. are they just square or are they rounded, because a rounded end tank (with inlet/outlet more centered) is going to have better flow than a squared end tank with inlet/outlet at the top or bottom.
