hey guy long time reader frist time poster!

i got this turbo and what looks like a water line got broken.and half of the threads are still in the center houseing.does anyone have any tips or tircks of getting this out.i added a pic to show how bad it is.

If it's a water line it won't be needed unless you decide you have to run coolant through it.

 

no point in running the coolant lines on junkyard turbos anyways.

 

so?i should just block it off?

 

yeah it's just a water jacket

 

just leave it as is, as long as you have a nice oil feed you will be fine, dont connect any coolant to it

 

u sure dont i need both water and oil lines.and what do u mean by leave it.theres a hole there wonbt trash or something get down in there?i dont know im new still to all this so thats why im asking u guys.its a TE04H turbo.u think its off a auto eclpies and talon but not sure.its the one down from the 14b.if anyone gots any good useful info on this turbo let me know.

 

the water jackets is closed off from the other parts of the turbo so it wont matter if u get ---- in there.

i my self am goin to run coolant lines anyway cuz its not hard and im trying to get as much life out of it as possible

and if its a tdo4h then its off a auto 1stgen eclipes, talan, or laser is the other one right?

and i think its still called a 14b
