Need help with Boost Creep issue!!
Ok, I have a serious boost creep problem... I have tryed 3 different wastegates with 8psi springs (a 35mm, 40mm, & now Tial 38mm) I have a direct line from the charge from compressor housing to the wastegate. My car always does 1bar(14.7psi) or more. I mean wtf. This is really becouming a problem for me. any insite to wtf could it be.. heres a pic of my setup.. Built B18C1, T3/T04 .63/.50 a/r 57 trim, SSAC manifold, 2.5in down pipe, currently Tial 38mm gate.
either the wastegate doesn'T open (seized piston or leaky connection of the hose)
or the dump tube is too restrictive.
Oh, you did not plug anything on the top port of the wastegate did you?

how about....
your boost gauge is probably hooked up to your manifold, your wg line is on the compressor
the intercooler on that car is massive, so the air gets more dense, and can make more boost.
So make sure there's nothing plugging the top of the wastegate port, re-route the WG line to the intake manifold and get back to us

i think youll be ok with 1 bar on those injectors....its your call though...if you dont wanna tune for the bigger boost on those injectors look at what blaast said....pretty sure he's right on.

& the boost guage is an 60mm Greddy Electronic warning guage, & its not that either cuz I tryed my old greddy mechanical boost guage & it read the same... Ive tryed everything I could think of.
