well i have a 96 lx and i was plannin on swappin the motor but like havin to find the right ecu for it itll be hefty. Like plannin on gettin h22 and build it for boost while on the long run, but i cant go obd1 i have to stay obd2a due to emissions. Ill be able to pass the smog but i wont be able to pass the secondary check that they pluging into the cigarette later and i was trying to make a deal with the guys but they say it cant be done. Well then i will like to boost my motor i had boosted my 90 teg w/ ls/vtec swap but i bought a turbo kit. But i wanna take pride more into my work for my accord.
So like i have already started by droppin in a 255lph fuel pump and safc apexi havin sittin in the closet as well some injectors from a boosted talon. But i was to get the turbocharger, and wondering how do i tell if its a good turbo?
Like plannin on heading to the junker and go searching for one and looking for a t3. Also wonderin what is shaft play?
Sorry for askin so much i know im sounding more like a noobie just that never built my own. And i wanna have the pride feeling that man i built my kit while others spend $4k. My goal is boosting my f22b2 and having at 220 - 240 daily driver. I know tunning is the key and i know ill be doin that cuz i have to work and school and i dont want it blowin up while driiving around.
