Default Need advice wiht my D17

Ok guys here is the thing i got a 2003 EX!!! My engine is all stock!!!! I jsut bouth a t25 turbo, cold side is a .48 A/R, and the hot side is a .89 the flange on the turbo is a T3 flange!!! I am planning to push about 180-200(maybe)Hp what do you guys think would be the safest Hp i could push wiht this turbo and what psi!! I'm keep the enigne stock untill i get some moore money together!! also can i keep the stock fuel pump i read that the honda fule rail can support up to 400hp so i'm good on that!!! could i runo stome bigger fuel injectors even wiht a ratio of 9.9:1 and stock internals!! I'm am still doin my HW on turbos and reading throguht! But some adive and help would be nice!!!

first of all you bought a shitty *** isuzu npr boxtruck turbo which your motor prob wont spool. theres your first prob. then read the faq for all your other questions like a good noob

hwy would my motor spool the turbo its a small *** turbo! the only difference on it its the t3 flnage i got this turbo cusom made my garrett!

he's right, its not a custom made turbo, its off an izuzu box truck. its made to supply a lil boost (small compressor) to a big engine (gigantic back housing). i have one of them, ---- takes a year and a day to spool. i have one for sale, if you wanna go twin turbo or sumn. :P

sorry man but i wasnt excited lol anyway so i guess there is no way to modify the turbo. i guess i just fucked up on buying that thing than!!

Maybe he's excited that his motor is stock!!!!


The .48/.84 would be the most inefficient turbo for that motor. That motor would have to spin to 50,000rpm. Even than I don't think there would be enough velocity

would changing the back housing make a difference in spooling up the turbo
