what size turbo should be used for a fully built for turbo ls (Fully built, everything you can think of) that rev's to 9 grand. The ls is completely built though, anything from port and polish to bearings.

But there are a million other turbos u could use..basically anything large that will produce the desired HP

9k on a ls. wtf thats poop. i think a goof turbo fro that is a rhb5 will spool fast, run like 2psi reving to your suposed 9k. lol im drunk but 9k on a ls seems gay and idk, whats all done to make it go that high and ---- huh :P

 

What HP do you estimate this engine without boost ?
And what HP are you looking at?

 

8K they do okay with usual valvetrain and cams. 8500 rpms, even. 9K you really start slinging off some rocker arms.

I know the Nismo boys have rocker arm retainers for their SR20's, which are a similar design with the same problem, but I don't know if anybody makes them for LS.
