Default Need advice on a Turbo trade: Please look.

For all you experts out there... this just came along to me.

This dude with an Eclipse wants to trade me my Civic AEM cold Air Intake for this...

A turbonetics Td05 Turbo.

Like I said, I dunno much about turbos.. but I'm guessing this is a bad deal. Simply because a turbo is way more expensive than a damned Intake.

He's coming by to show it to me. What should I look for? Besides a gun because he's going to shoot me probably. ANy ideas?

Shaft play, oil leaks, and make sure it spins freely... if its from a DSM, and it's a TD05 its not by turbonetics, its a Mitsubishi based turbo. (14b)

----, a intake for a turbo? sounds like a deal to me..

My bad, didnt put enough info.

It's supposedly coming from another TUrbo Charged Civic. What should I look for to make sure that it's a TUrbonetics? Hopefully this jerk isn't trying to rip me anyway. I'd rather sell my Intake for like 80 for IC piping than get another turbo and not be able to sell it.
