This is my friends turbo it came free with his car, among other things .... i have no idea what it is... it has no logo, or brand stamped on it... just some serial numbers, and it's quit possibly ball bearing? it spins freely for ever... maybe someone out there knows what this is... only thing i saw is that it says garret on the cartridge and its a t4 footprint.
I would like to atleast get an idea of what its comparable too, this thing is huge.

gt35r? if it spins for longer than a second or so, its a ballbearing. Sounds like you got a little pot of gold on your hands

 

I'd measure the wheel, my guess is a 60-1?

 

That's not ball bearing for sure. These blue backplates are for journal bearings only.
Doesn't mather though.... it's a Real GArrett turbo able of 600 HP.

#20257 = 60-1 backplate from turbonetics..... no doubt.

It's a T04 60-1 compressor, 0.70 a/r

That turbine is a "O" trim. If so, i bet it measures 58.32mm x 74.22mm
THe turbine housing looks like garrett's performance T4 ones. A/R appears to be low. Like 0.50 ish.
