Default My winter upgrades

Warning all haters, DSM inside

Just thought I'd show all those interested, and all the haters, what my plans are for my Talon over the winter.

Old setup consisted of a PTE mitsu bolt-on 50 trim with standard supporting mods, running off E85.

New stuff for this winter is as follows:

T3 manifold (Bringing it in Friday to get Jet Coated black)
Borg Warner S362 turbo with .70 T3 turbine housing w/ V-Band out (Bringing it in Friday to get turbine housing Jet Coated black)
New non-sealed beam headlights so I can just change out the damn bulbs and not the whole glass somabitch. (Had to cut off stock harnesses and wire in an H4 harness. So far seems to work just fine after rewire)
Tial 44 Wastegate
-wapping out Forge MBC for new Hallman MBC
New complete SS turbo back utilizing only V-Band's
Fidanza 4.3 clutch
New Dogbox Racing built tranny
Homemade Intake Manifold (raw aluminum is paid for and waiting to be picked up from Discount Steel)
1G N/T Throttle Body
CF Hood to replace my dented up stocker
Still sticking with E85

Couple pics below. All positive and negetive comments welcome

looks like an egay special turbo.....if it is gl on it not falling apart in 2 miles, though it says borg warner i say otherwise............

what power do you plan to make? i got a buddy who swears up and down that he ran 20 psi on the stock turbo/motor and he would crush any car on the streets lol.

It is a BW Extended Tip S362 from Bullseye. For the insane amount of money these turbos cost, it better not fall apart in 2 miles. So to answer you, no it is not an ebay special. I did a lot of research before decideding on the one I want, and ordering it from Dave at BEP over the phone.

As for power, well every dyno reads different, and our local Dyno Dynamics tend to read low. I was putting down 366, and I'm now hoping to break into the 500's, and net me my first 10 second pass.

And if you don't know the specifics of these turbos, you could compare it to something like a GT35 as far as flow numbers. But due to it's extended tip design, hopefully she'll flow a little more than a GT35 at higher boost levels.

Sorry, I guess I didn't really give a backround on the car besides what I'm chaning. It's a 91 AWD. Has a Mahle/Eagle built 2.0, along with just your typical supporting mods for what I'm doing.
