My turbo CRX at the drags tonight. (now with ripper vids further down the page)
I know most of you dont know me or my car so i will give you a basic run down of it, its a pretty simple no fills build, its a 1990 CRX si with a d16z6 with scat rods and SRP pistons using a custom manifold to run a big 16g turbo, the turbo is ported out to hold a 20 compressor wheel, the injectors are 750s and the management is hondata, the rest of the motor is all OEM. my pipes are all very small only 2- 2.25 inch and my exhaust is also very small and uses a muffler not a fart can. my main goal was 12s and 35+ mpg as this is my daily driver and has full interior and stereo system, GPS navigation and satellite radio, you get the idea. any way after upgrading my old 16G to this one i found that my 22 inch slicks became useless and i normally just spun my way to a average of 12.0 to 12.1 passes at best. but tonight i went to the track with my new 23s and got to make 3 passes trying different boost and tire pressures before it rained. each time shot i was getting faster and faster do to lowering the tire pressure and rasing the boost off the line. I really think had i got another handful of passes in i could have done even better. if i beat the snot out of it and hammered the tranny when i shifted i could get more out of it to but its my good car and i need it for work so i drive it pretty easy. any way here is the only video my wife took from tonight its my first pass when i only used 3 psi of boost to launch and 10 psi in the slicks, it was my worse pass of the night, and here is my best time slip of th enight as well. i think it will settle out around a high 11.5 to mid 11.6 once i get the ideal settings sorted out.

I have 2 trannys for the car, both are Si cable trannys, the only deifference is i have a HF 5th gear in one of them for lower rpms on the highway. and yes i have a helical style LSD.
The car is tuned to 22 psi, but as you know weather and temps can affect how much you make at any given setting of the boost controller, i was making between 20 and 21 last night.
