okay so i went around today to every place imaginable, and finally found myself a needle valve, i reduced the pressure down to 10-20 psi. it made a pretty big difference for the first little while, but now she's smoking again 
i can either get a different turbo from a guy for $75.00, or possibly trade my core for a freshly rebuilt one for $100.00, or i can get a re-seal & bearing kit from a diesel injection place that has them in stock for like $250.00
what would hmt do?

nice setup.
no, you don't want that snow. i lived in ND/MN my whole life until recently. i'v been in florida for about 9 months now. snow is something people think they want, out of curiousity. what you don't realize is that if you live in a place like MN, you see snow about 6-8 months out of the year, and for a good couple of those months, its a constant below 0 temperature. yes thats right, below 0°F as in -20°F with a windchill of -60°F. nobody wants snow if they are sane.

the manifold i made comlpetely from scratch, i bought some 1.5" T's and 90 degree bends, and the metal supply place gave me a big piece of flat. it's all done with a fire axe and a die grinder, the joints on the manifold were all ground off for that "clean" look, i just didn't get around to doing the flange connector yet.
i have to take it off because i forgot to face the flanges before i put it on the car and of course, it leaks. :/ oh well it's not a big deal to face it off, i have to take the turbo off to either rebuild it or to put a different one on.
anyways, yeah, snow = not cool.
well, maybe in the mountains, but not out in the mainland.

also coming in my install is a bar & plate intercooler i believe it's a starion/conquest type frontmount.
and my water injection system, here's a couple nasty shots i took with my webcam. just to give you an idea, its just the box sofar.
