Props on the build! Id stay away from the emanage though. Ask Joseph Davis about the n/a-t mkIV supra he tuned with emanage. It was full of fail.

Would MSNSV2 do anything for him?

MSNV2? Is that megasquirt you speak of? I have toyed with the idea of doing the fuel only option for around 7psi. For the price of mega squirt, I can get an AEM f/ic to do the same and not ---- with the stock fuel drivability when in vac. I would like to do the megasquirt though so I could get a better understanding of how it all works.

MAP ECU 2 is for the win. $700 bucks basically a standalone and easy as ---- to use. Google map ecu. Its Plug and play for the supra id imagine a soarer would be damn close if not the same harness.

If I didnt already have (read: borrowed) an AEM for my supra thats what I would have.

I have heard some great things about Map ecu. Some dudes have run it with ODBII on the IS and had mixed results.

The problems they have are the stock ecu fighting the map ecu for control over the VVTI, just lock the ------- cams in place and crank up the boost. Simple fix.

You can get 1020 Honda boxes for sub-$500 if you put an ear to the ground... they have all the coil and injector outputs required to flash with the 1100 (2JZ-GTE) base calibration and work correctly, just requires an adapter harness.

All the Supra guys are rich dildoes with a lot of money and no clue, if you ever go COP/GTE setup with an AEM, which reverts you to wasted spark, you DO NOT HAVE TO BUY AND HKS DLI OR MSD COILS FOR A THOUSAND DOLLARS so don't listen to the forums. Get a hold of me and I'll walk you through.
