its pretty rare, but there has been some instances where the diaphram was pinched between the housing. its probably a good idea to dissasemble the unit and inspect the diaphram. but other than that ive heard nothing but goodness about these wastegates. mine holds steady.

 

should have disassembled it and inspected it before install.

 

This is why u never buy cheap china stuff they always fail if it dosent have a name brand on it dont buy it

 

I bought same kind the Tial knockoff wastgate off Egay the first thing i did was open it up the first thing i saw that the diaphram was Not put in right it would have leaked Bad. The second thing all four set screws where loose and had no lock tight to hold them in place Nice<This Guy is 100% Right if you have the Money Buy the Good ---- if you dont have the money for the good ---- and have to buy the Egay ---- go throgh real good for it dont ---- up your motor.That my 0.02

 

Learn some English and they shut the ---- up.

 

i will never trust an engine to a cheapass wastegate. some things just arent worth half assing.
