its pretty rare, but there has been some instances where the diaphram was pinched between the housing. its probably a good idea to dissasemble the unit and inspect the diaphram. but other than that ive heard nothing but goodness about these wastegates. mine holds steady.

I bought same kind the Tial knockoff wastgate off Egay the first thing i did was open it up the first thing i saw that the diaphram was Not put in right it would have leaked Bad. The second thing all four set screws where loose and had no lock tight to hold them in place Nice

I got one, disassembled it to check everything and it seemed ok, except they send they wrong wastegate spring. I probably would have blown my engine at that boost level. Here's a thread about the correspondence with the known dipshit that runs ssauto (look at the replies he leaves to his neg. feedback) but I did end up getting a new wastegate for free.
