I would love to see the before and after with nothing but just the head change.

They are 700 shipped with stock valvetrain I supply the core or 600 shipped you send in a head of your own. A upgraded manifold/throttle body is also a must. A head I did years ago on low boost small turbo set up. Same boost evels of 6 psi before and after

You pay for what you get for.

You obviously havent looked at head prices. 2ndly these builds are hardly budget anymore. Only thing budget is the pistons the rest is the same cost for any other build.

The variety of setups is such that I cant keep them straight when I think about each (who had which IM, who had which Turbo Mani, etc).

I really think with a well setup head, a PROPER valve job and a well "tuned" port job...500 whp on one of these vitara builds is doable on pump.
A lot of people come and say that they have a "Port and Polish" and I always ask "who did it?" and the answer is some local machinist. None of these guys study the D motor...they are lifers, gear heads, domestic enthusiasts...

I want to see someone with a Mike Belben head, RLZ, Endyn or Bisi...these guys KNOW the tricks that make these heads flow with a proper cam.

Chris u owe me some whp on pump gas!!! 600whp or bust!! :7

lol, nice build, this car is sick. the set-up/injector/gas/and hp is :y :6

good job.
