is it abnormal for the snap rings to be easy to install?? mine only took a few mins, i pushed them in by hand too, they popped right in without giving me a hard time at all

I have no idea. This was the first time I've had to deal with the spiral locks. If you were working with snap rings it may have been different.

in short, yes.

you need to use snap ring pliers or some ground down needle nose. if you're pushing them in by hand they may come loose later on down the road

snaprings are cheap, much cheaper than the damage worn out ones can cause

Been at it since 10am this morning and the motors in and all connections are done except the vtec wiring. All thats left in the engine compartment is. Vtec wiring harness, axles, turbo, intercooler pipes, valve cover and oil in motor and transmission.

At 10 this morning




A hour later.



Installing a motor by yourself is hard. I bent the shift linkage.


My battery relocation.


The interior is another story. I still have the cluster wiring to do and I also have to tie the engine harness into this mess of a wire tuck I did. I really need to clean this up.



Not to bad so far.

Only injury so far is I cut my hand.

yep thats the plan. unfortanlly it my be a few months before I can save up enogh to get it retuned.
