the digital dash is ------- cool

 

I cant wait to see it at the track.. the 1g doesnt need nearly as much power to keep up with the newer models

 

i can't wait to see it either...i've been waiting forever to collect all of the parts to get it together. it gonna be lighter than my 86 crx si...i put all of the parts into an 87 crx dx, and stripped anything i dont need. i AM keeping the interior though. this car doesn't have a sunroof, rear wiper, and some other stuff. it all adds up to about maybe 60 lbs

 

the 1st gen CRXs are one of my favorites

i remember a guy who had one, d16a1 with some small turbo, itwas pretty quiet, & at one point in time, 3 different colors, ran consistant bottom 14s, i'm pretty sure it was just a JY set up, since nothing was clean nor shiney

the guy had a mullet too, lol, the car hailed the mail, & prolly didn't cost him more then a G to build

thanks man. it sucks that i couldn't get the surround for it too, but i modified mine, and it fits.

wish it would warm up a bit so i can get a move on. it also doesn't help that it gets dark at friggen 40 now. the place that im renting has really shitty light sources, and the outlets are old as hell....they dont even have the 3 prong grounded outlets in the garage.
