Well we got a little tuning done on the car this weekend. Currently running 10 psi and she pulls pretty strong. Fixed a few other minor issues that were bothering me but the motor mount issue still lingers. After putting more thought into welding it solid we figured have all other stock mounts the motor is still going to want to move which would more than likely break the welded mount if not something else :4. I guess Im back to finding some other fix there. Its kinda late right now but I'll post some more pics up of some other things tomorrow. Keep the mount suggestions coming.

Well since we didnt take any pics when we were making the exhaust I tried to take as good of pics of it as I good with the car on jackstands. Its a mix of aluminized and mild steel so its a little multicolored but thats what makes it sexy. We made it all one piece since I couldnt afford any flanges and we cut it in half right before the rear lca to make it easier to install. Its connected with a silicone coupler and its holding up really nicely. Theres a few other pieces of couplers clamped onto it to keep it from rattling in places. The exhaust is 3" straight pipe from the turbo all the way to a 3" resonatotor I picked up from a local muffler shop. We made a homemade muffler out of it by welding a 3.5" stainless tip to it that we cut off an old ricer muffler we had laying around. It actually looks realy sleeper/stock from the back of the car.

We needed to tune and didnt have an o2 bung to weld in to I cut the one that was in my stock header and welded it in to the downpipe. It looks a little sloppy from all the stainless hanging off the bung but it worked.

Still looking for a fix for the mount problem.

So you welded just one mount? No problems or broken welds yet? Please post pics.

Re: my 2000 si build

i welded the retared drivers side ek only special retaration mount together with some random bolts all good for now.. also my rear tourqe mount is filled (i swapped from the ---- hatch)

but on my ---- hatch i just had all 3 tourqe mounts filled with window weld and my drivers side top mount was torn in half and had no problems cuz it just holds the weight of the motor not the tourqe..

so i suggest you remover your 2 front tourqe mounts (they are the front lower ones ac compressor bracket and trans bracket on the opposite side) and fill with window weld.. reinstall few hours later and just take it easy for a few days.. or like i did just wash with some good cleaner like purple power.. and just fill when on the car (thats what i did) good luck ;)

Youve got to post some pics of how you welded the drivers side mount. Your engine still has to move slightly and I would think that would break the welds on that mount, especially when slamming gears and such. If you could just take pics of all your mounts so I can see how you have things set up that would be clutch. Maybe that would give me some ideas.
