Default Mitsubishi Injectors on a Custom Turbo Civic

I'm building a custom turbo project for my 2000 civic ex and I have a high performance fuel pump and a vortech fmu, running with a t-25 turbo andont mount intercooler. Do I need bigger injectors just to run around 6-7 psi. If not when are bigger injectors required. I was thinking of getting injectors off of a 97 Mitsubishi eclipse, would that fit my car. I was also thinking about getting a MSD SCI but do I need it for 6-7psi.

i would say just get the bigger injectors....cuz youll always want more boost...and its just safer. you could also get the MSD BTM....or the VAFC and use some type of hack to do the fuel(i heard good things) or you could always go big and get a Zdyne secu. and you always want an intercooler. good luck!

for 6-7psi I would say a FMU would be just fine.. are you experiencing lean condtions?

If you want to run larger injectors in your car you can. to run hold and peak style injectors on newer civics, you will need to get the DSM injector plugs. Wiring in resistors, and get some type of controller to pulse them slower, I.E SMC controller/APEX/Fields etc etc.

I will be doing a detailed write up pretty soon on this.

On a 90 civic, they are going to be pretty much plug and play.. The plugs, plug right in, the 88-91's already use a hold and peak style injector that has the resistor box. You will need to modifiy you injector O-rings so the head of the injector can slide into them. (shave about 2mm off) To a snug fit. Then install the apexi controller and start adjusting your settings.

I have a 98 civic ex. I have a set of 450cc dsm injectors, the harness for them, a fmu, a s-afc, and I'm getting a fuel pump this weekend. will I need to add resistors to the injectors?

Yes you will,

10watt 10ohm resistors, on each power input.

so a total of 4.
