I just finished installing my turbo and all on my car...

im running a Garrett T3 0.48/0.60 with FMIC at 8psi, 450's with ubberdata
I downloaded basemap from xenocron website and im into tuning it

question is: when I go over 5500 RPM or so, the car runs like ---- (not a surprise since im into the step or tunning it hehe). It does weird sounds and im guessing it's missfires. How do I know the difference between misfires and detonations?
What else beside changing the spark plugs can help with missfires ? is it simply cause I run too rich right now?

also, how much would you guys suggest retarting the timing/pounds of boost?

also, I had forgot that.... Im running a b18b engine just to let you guys know

 

Put some new spark plugs in and gap them .28.

with a misfire you'll lose all power and the car will just bog out basically, feels like someone's hitting the brakes and it makes a weird sputtering noise.

 

these were definitly misfires....

I changed the spark plugs and gapped them... and everything is not working more than perfect!

all I need now is to tune it up hehe!

hmm. sounds like i have misfires when im cruising very light throttle before the car has fully warmed up... damn i need to take this thing to get tuned
