They sell SS wire for mig welders that will work just fine with 75/25 mixture. Ask your supply house.

personally IMO, i think that 2" would be to big. sure you would have tons of flow, but no velosity.

it seems that 1.750 is the way to go

I'm with ya. I am using sched10 SS which is 1.9" OD but thick walled so ID is only 1.682"
