Re: map sensor question
go to a fish store and by two or three fish tank check valves! mine took 3 for the map sensor not to feel boost. by going that route though ull need n extra map sensor... cant just leave that hole on top of the t/b.
those check valves were like a 1.50 a piece... its simple good luck

just because your ******-*** blew your own motor up doesnt mean im going to ... the only reason you tried to take a stab at someone else is because your a complete dumb ---- and have no knowledge on the subject whatsoever and wanted to cover it up by calling someone else stupid..get a life man..
as to everyone else..thanks for the input..i might try the fish-tank valves..but wouldnt the check valve have to have some kinda of bleed or something so that the map sensor would not see vacuum all the time?? thanks again guys

anyways i thought 4-5psi was somewhat safe with an fmu. you should look into getting a chip kit when you can and some 450's. i understand the broke thing, cause thats why i have 95% of the ---- to boost my car, but its been sitting in the garage for 5 mo.
you can get a chip kit at moats.net for $15.

Re: map sensor question
If he's cheap and only wants to run 5 lbs or so fmu is fine, my friend ran one for 2 years engines still runing strong...some people just have bad luck. I wouldnt reccomend using one as its alot more risky but yes, about 3 valves is what it takes.
