Depends on you Management system. What are you using to control fuel?

Re: map sensor question
Free? You mean a new motor in 2 months is free?
Can't help you, Only worked with SAFC/VAFCs and ECUs. Have fun! |
Re: map sensor question
Yeah, if your going to use an FMU, then use the Check valve (missing link) because you dont want your MAP reading any positive pressure then in turn you'll get a check engine which in turn your engine is ran in ---- mode.

Re: map sensor question
How much boost do you plan to run? An fmu is ok if you're at low boost and you retard your timing a bunch. It's not a great alternative but it can work.

Re: map sensor question
sell the fmu, use crome and get some dsm 450s. u can go to a junkyard and gank some 450's or get them for about 50 bux. sell the fmu to some retard and put that money towad having someone like xenocron chip it for you. hell of a lot safer and not that expensive

Re: map sensor question
well i have no experience with tuning and i dont have a computer to do it with or anything like that..if it even needs that?? im only gonna run like 7-8 psi..i wasnt asking if i should use an FMU because im going to run now..its what i have already..just asking if it was NECESSARY to use the check valve..thanks for all the input..
