It's not recommended, it shortens the wastegate flapper travel so you can get boost creep, I've been there and done that.

I just made an MBC using a ball bearing, spring and 3 brass fittings I had laying around. I still need to drill a bleed hole, but I've tested it with an air tank and a regulator and it's good for 5-25 psi of adjustment. I'll post pics if anyone cares..

I made one at one point to raise a Dodge WG from 5psi to 8. I spiked all over!!! 14psi, 12 psi you name it I was their! now I just use a talon WG

I have lengthen the actuator rod to maximum and it is still too much for me (8psi), so i rather short it back and want to use a manual boost controller instead (connected to compressor side vacuum connector and actuator).

can someone explain how the mbc works like i understand u turn it up(open it) and down(closing it) but how does it boost?
