Hey guys. I'm doing as much research as I can when I put together my turbokit this winter for my 99 Si. I know what I want and I have some parts, but I need to buy a manifold and turbo.

I am thinking if I can find a good 14B turbo, that would be good. BTW - I plan on boosting 6psi. I was also considering the IHI RBH5 turbo. Saw some clean ones on ebay.

My question is, as far and turbo manifolds go.....how do I know what manifold will fit what turbo? If I can't find a good deal on a manifold/turbo combo, I may buy a manifold from thedropshop.tv website and get a turbo for it. Like for example, what turbos will fit the manifolds at http://www.thedropshop.tv/manifolds.html ?

With my setup I will be using DSM 450cc injectors with a VAFC.

 

Ah poor Jon, people on HT ripped him pretty hard about those manifolds, he had a pretty large group buy going on, and I guess something happend and he didnt end up delivering them until 2 1/2 months later, I guess some of them were not even finished.. LOL, The appear to be ok manifolds, just a basic log design, he can pretty much put whatever flange on that manifold you want.

the 14b would work pretty well with a B16a, at the top end it might not pull as hard, since b16a's love to rev

The RHb5 is way to small for your app, trust me, dont even waste your time

The afc/450cc setup will work good for what your doing.

btw, you will have to somehow modify the wastegate on the 14b to open at 6psi, because they are internally set for 8.
