If you're going to go buy one of those pieces of ----, take it straight to the machine shop and get the pateing surfaces milled. Head flange, turbo flnage and wastegate flange. They're all warped. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
Re:Manifold A or B
Ok.
Are there any other manifolds out there equivalent to the shitbird tubular for around the same price, that would be an improvement over my hf/adapter plate mani? |
Re:Manifold A or B
BMC has some for around $150. I know he had a couple listed on Egay not too long ago. For $150 you can't go wrong with that manifold. :-\

Re:Manifold A or B
u could always buy some schedule 40 tubing from www.mcmaster.com and a flange from BMC for about 75 bones. find a friend w/ a Mig welder and a bandsaw. have him/her teach you how to weld, and make a log for real cheap and learn something.

Re:Manifold A or B
The BMC mani's look like ass, no offense.
Unless I go for a tubular / external wastegate'd manifold I may as well stick with the HF mani. |
Re:Manifold A or B
ive seen a few of the greddy manifolds that came with their d series kits around h-t for about $90-100, i thought about getting one except ive already had my DP made for hf mani
