Manifold A or B

I need some advice. I currently have a 14b hung off a DOHC ZC with an HF mani and a BMC Racing adapter plate. Now my question is, would I make more power with this setup, or (brace yourselves) an SSAutoChrome mani?

Now before you start flaming away hear me out. I have done alot of research on them and weeded out the countless number of people who have never even used an SSAC mani that told me it would crack. I found a good number of people that have had good success with them simply by bracing the turbo itself to the block, so that the mani did not have to support its weight (now its only job is to transport exhaust gasses, not hold up a 20lb turbo/downpipe). If I did that and went back over the welds Im 90% positive I will have success with it.

So, which will make more power?

T25 flange = 14b flange.

the ss has a t3 flange which wouldn't work with your 14b. it wouldn't be worth all the trouble to get that mani to work properly if you already have the hf mani setup. is your hf mani ported? if not, do that instead. the minimal gain, if any, achived by a tubular mani on your setup would not be worth the cash or trouble.

One of the people that has never used an SSAC mani, but is simply repeating what someone else told him.

Its a T25. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

But were getting off subject. Which would make more power?

hmmm... i never saw that he sold that one. although, by the looks of it, thats not the same flange as a mitsubishi eclipse t25. i would double check, there are 2 different style t25 flanges that i know of. the style on the mitsubishi eclipse has a round inlet hole. there is also a nissan style.

umm. acutally i had one.
but i dont see the point in asking opinions when you already made a desicion.
its like asking if u should get the red car or the blue car when u already decided you want the red one.

You can always upgrade can't you?

But then again for another 85 bucks I could have a shitbird tubular. Are there any other quality manifolds out there that wont break the bank?
