That is a killer write-up. Chinoy have you made one of these yet?

I also presume you could just tap the connection off the existing MAP sensor on your intake manifold, this guy is running the 2.5 BAR motorola unit, would that throw the calibration off enough to warrent using different value'd pots?

I could throw together something like that in an hour or two.
WHy would you want to skimp on a new map sensor they are like 18$ each or free.
You could just chk if your map sensor output values match the MPX here is the V-Out chart for the MPX


What we are trying to achive is a little bit more ambitious.
We want to on / off 3 seprate devices and advance timing based on boost.

My bigest problem is I dont have a scope and cant afford the dailly rental of 1000 bucks (20$) per day. Need to wait till we hire one to work on the Bike CDI and then get these jobs done.

Because you can't run more boost than the map sensor can read that's already on your honda. So why do you need to read higher?

Agreed though, new sensors are cheap, and Digikey has tons of 2.5 BAR sensors

Me only have 1.3 zuki with no map sensor and carbs.

thats pretty cool... so u need a different map sensor to run that? and does it only read in mili bars?
