Nothing wrong with a distributor, but yah your stock vacuum advance unit would have to go.

How long do you think before you have her up and running, as in tuned and the small bugs worked out? I demand dirty tiresmoking wheelspin videos.

I'm not in a rush since its been 3 years that I have been working on the project, but hopefully I will have some rough tuning done and enough miles on it to thrash on it in a month or so.

Have been really busy with work lately and I may not get as much time to work on this as I would like. That and I don't have any experience with the tuning, so I have been reading over the manual several times to try to wrap my brain around everything.

Mostly just tuning by myself or with a buddy but neither of us have experience with anything like this before... I may look to someone like Dave Lee to help accelerate the process depending on how quickly I get it dialed in.

I look forward to some burnout videos too once I get it all tuned up reliably enough lol.

I live in Longview, WA which is about an hour north of Portland, OR.

Got my cold start and constant fuel enrichment a little closer, starts up at around 11:1 instead of 10:1 lol. It has a 20 second enrichment period that is still too rich, so I need to dial that down slowly. Hard when you really only get one shot at it per day.

Idle is happy between 13.5 and 14.5 AFR at least after the 20 second enrichment is all done... Part throttle and full throttle still needs work, but for some reason I am not able to datalog currently. I have done it before, so I don't know what changed, but I will need to figure that out before I go too much further.

Got the brakes bled and speedo gear installed so its closer to roadworthy now. Just needs fenders/bumper/brake lights/turn signals and it's almost a legitimate street car again, hehe
