lowest boost setting
Just a quick verification here. I'll be putting a turbo kit onto a 95 civic soon and the kit is basically a nismo adjustable fmu, an inline fuel pump spearco intercooler and a mitsu 14b turbo with internal wastegate. The guy had a grainger valve as a boost controller and was boosting at around 7 psi. My question is that first of all, I can't boost any lower than that can I, and secondly, shouldn't the stock mitsu internal wastegate be set to something higher??

Re:lowest boost setting
Lower boost settings are achieved by modifying the wastegate actuator arm.
Raising the boost is achieved by lowering the pressure to the wastegate. This is normally done with a spring and ball controller. Cheap, and easy. Both can be done with the wastegate you have on your turbo now.
