was actualy letting off the gas while in second to decel that did it in, because on acceleration honda trans gears are pushed together, and on decel they are pushed apart. add 8k rpm and you have a loud clicking like you just threw a auto in park while moving.

best part is i have a usdm zc sitting in my garage, the d16a1 motor/trans everything i got cheap thinkin ill have a back up
now i find out almost nothing is the same and the transmission wont even work with my 88 jdm zc *crys*
now to find a si trans and a lsd heh

will an 88 teg D16A1/ZC tranny work?? and is urs the dohc zc or sohc zc?? makes all the difference
the teggy transmissions took abuse from me quite well. But what did u down shift too high to ---- ur 2nd gear??

i blame the weed.
got some dank ---- and my foot came off the gas befor i put the clutch in hah.
no thats what i have in my garage, but my engine is a dohc jdm zc which is apparently WAY different.
i think ima get a dx tranny and hope the longer gears give me better tractions and not make me slower
