Guys, a correct alignment isn't going to be a stock alignment. For corner carving a little extra negative camber is generally good, but when you're a straight line hero... with the motley assortment of parts on the market... your actual alignment is all over the place. The biggest concerns are going to be how high the front end lifts under power - watch videos and estimate this amount of lift, as your alignment guy needs to set your camber to zero at this lift, and when resting your camber is wherever the ---- it wants to be. *this makes a bigger difference than tire compound for some cars*/

The next thing I'd worry about is spring rates and shocks. You might get the spring rates right - there are honestly a large spectrum of rates that can work, or be made to work in the hands of a good driver - but 98% of the shocks out there are complete crap. You want front shocks with no compression resistance and very stiff rebound, the rear shocks need to have a lot of compression resistance and very mild rebound. This is why some FWD cars go 6.0's in the 1/8th with no wheelie bars, it's also not going to feel great in a curve. Most of the $600-1000 suspension packages on the market are crap that won't help you with this. KYB AGXs adjustments do nothing, and the high dollar ----- suspensions whose adjustments do work aren't valved for drag racing. The rich man's solution is to pay a suspension guy $2500 to valve and dyno some shocks. I know of three affordable methods involving various degrees of R&D, since exactly no one sent me donor struts to R&D on I'm just mentioning it to taunt you./

There are other things that add to the traction package. Stiffening the chassis by re-welding seams (stitch welds, not continuous!), adding bracing like cages or by triangulating the A-pillar to the forward frame rail that the motor + trans mounts come off of, etc. Beam rear ends lose weight, and if you haven't the best shock valving they make controlling the rear end a lot simpler with common gear.

There is a guy selling almost a complete traction bar kit on FS section, I think it was a lakewood for a good price too 120 shipped. Go for 300 plus shipping on ebay. Traction bars will help alot

JD, don't forget toe change when the nose comes up, ZERO toe after all deflection is accounted for.

weld 2" spacers to your rim lip, and weld on a second rim. traction issues solved. 4 wheels drive civic
