My advice. Read. Buy tools. Spend money. Build it.

If all of these are not your style by a greddy kit

is it cheaper to buy it yourself in parts rather than a kit?

haha geeze chris, pushin him away hard off the bat. yes we are a diy site, yes most of us do, but not everyone does, most people jus sit around n try to buy others old setups. mani n dp combo, ic piping for 92-95 including ic n your set. slight modificiations needed of course. sit around n shop n im sure you can piece one together. or buy that kit n install it n call it a day. either way installing a turbo kit on a motor that aint made for it is still sorta doin it your self. wether u bought it complete or not. 5psi aint ----, you'll get bored fast. i went from 2psi jus to blow off lol, (yes i was a ricer) but as soon as i felt boost DING DING DING!!!!!! i wanted more, made a new kit, got dsm injectors, real bov, uber, 14psi daily n only a few cars kept up. it was great

Keep in mind if you run an FMU you will need a high pressure fuel pump. If you convert to OBDI you will also need to convert to a 2 wire IAC valve which means a different manifold.

see thast the thing, I need this and that. Maybe i'll just forget about it and later on get a bigger engine for the car. I have a volvo t-5 and I really don't go boosting it hard . its very rare i kick it unless i need it quick. I'm more conservative due to gas prices and mileage. I know I won't be abusing it. but then again if I have to use 91 gas all the time then I might have to forget about it. I would be happy with 40-50 hp gain just to have it when i need it to move fast

I really think you need to sit down and re-evaluate the situation at hand..

You need to read up ALOT more and figure out what the ---- you are doing. Dont post. just read. Then after a few months of lurking and reading you can then be allowed 1 post per day.

If you dont follow those rules. I will ban you.
