Default Long night, need some advice!

Okay hey me and 2 of my buds were working on my civic for 7 hours trying to weld and make new chargepipings and having the FMIC in.. well about 2 hours were trying to find a store that sells fittings and hoses... NONE after 8 P.M so that was stupid.

well heres for the advice... i have the AUDI 5000 FMIC and its kinda hard to work with, with the full radiator and i was wondering how you would make new end tanks?? its ------- plastic too.... makes it even worse... right now we cut up my shitty bumper so one of the fittings would work until i get a FMIC from johnnyracecar.com

let me know guys!

Your post is slightly confusing. What are you trying to do, make new plastic end tanks on an audi IC?

I personally wouldn't ---- with plastic, but that is all depending the boost. You could always fiberglass the ----

well yeah i was sorta asking how would i make a new end but from what you said i'm not going to mess with it and make the car just run but it might look kind ghetto cuz we cut my bumper so a fitting would work.. but its all good. well thanks for the response hopefully i'll have her running in less than 12 hours!!!

Man, you don't even know.. everyone is afraid of this thing. My dog used to run from it when she saw it, I had to start giving her food wearing it to get her used to it. Girlfriends, family, they are all afraid of it.. My two year old niece loves it tho - she goes crazy when I wear it.

I gues I need to change my avatar to help out the people I'm giving advice to.

U know how stupid I would look welding with something like that? At least with the way it is now it's like "come on metal, you ain't got no game on me!"

----, that reminds me, I should go weld some ---- today since the rest of the week is expected rain. Field welding is always fun, time to either brake out some extension cords or load the generator on the trailor.

If your getting a Johnyrace intercooler my info is no good. But I'm using a Audi 5000 intercooler. I pulled the end tanks off and welded my own (Ihave access to use a aluminum welders for free). I had to trim my bumper alot because the intercooler is like 3 1/2 inches thick. Bolted it to my bumper support. Hangs past the bottom of my bumper but my stock lip covers it! Looks good painted flat black, and works great to for a HMT Intercooler!!! I didn't have the 200+ dollar american to spend. (I Live in Canada)
