logs make a decent budget manifold, but like it was said earlier, just dont use one on a built setup looking for big #'s

Nice looking log manifold Bizzar............what kind of welder did you use? I use a gasless wirefeed, and my welds look like ***...haha!

yea i have a flux core 175 and welds look shitty.. the slag ***** you up cuz you gotta stop and clean the ---- before continuing to weld..i'm thinkin about buying a argon/co2 tank cuz my welder is mig ready

well log style mani's are stronger in a sence and they are less suseptable to cracking than tubular but a tubular is going to spool faster and flow better. Alot of dsm guys swear by log mani's.

i'm gonna ask a quick question on your thread if ya don't mind..haha... anyone have a minimal thickness they recomend when making tubular manifold?

That was my first attemt at using a tig. Yes I fried the tip every 10 seconds, yes the welds look like ---- for a tig, no I do not care cause its strong as hell and got a nice burn through. By the time I got to the downpipe and exhaust i got the hang of it. I was going in the wrong direction the whole time doh. We were pressed for time ( I needed to get home) so I didnt get much practice. My buddy sort of said "theres the welder, thats the rod, this is to adjust the mask, have fun I'll be back in a few hours"
