alot of you know my setup and the problems i have had in the past. i purchased a used 18g greddy kit about a year ago. It sat in garage for 7 months then it found its way into my car. It has been fun but has left me wanting more out of this kit. I think Jeff/Dave/Myself have pushed this turbo/mani/crap internal gate to its limits. I would like some opinions on what to get for a new mani/turbo.

here is what i have now
greddy 18g
internal gate
greddy mani
greddy elbo
greddy downpipe.

which netted me 274whp on 12ish lbs. great to drive around with but my power goals have jumped. i would love to reach 350-400 now. I would like to keep AC if i can,If not will rip the bitch out. already missing the ac fan due to the greddy turbo.

I can get a tail 38mm waste gate and dumptube no problem but i just wanted to see what you guys would do in my position. Money would have to be factored in too. I am pretty much broke untill my next bonus in 4 months. so no big purchases. like 1000 for a turbo alone Jeff was looking at the car the other night and said it may be a pain in the *** to weld that internal gate shut and make up a external spot on the mani.

tail 38mm waste gate 170+shipping
turbo have no idea yet max 450+ plus shipping?
maybe a SC61?

Jeff said he would fab me up with 3inch downpipe

i could recope some dollars buy selling off the greddy turbo/mani/downpipe after it is all said and done But what would you guys do?

 

for your price range on the turbo....doesnt beau still have his 60-1? pick that up.

you should definitely pull all that greddy stuff off as one piece, some HT stooge will pay decent money for it

 

get a better manifold, those log manifolds arent as good as a equal length

 

I think you get a turbo for less than 300. on ebay. that will support your needs. not the SSAUTOCRAP
then you can spend more on your manifold.
