if yyour going to do a lot of racing, keep it lite no matter what.

if your gona daily it, keep it stock of just a bit lighter.

im also thinking about using a heavier flywheel but i wasnt sure what was better but i think im going to go with lighter ..i think it would fit my setup better ..thanks for starting this thread it answered a few of my questions i was going to ask

I have always said ---- the lightweight flywheel, my stock one works fine, so I'd rather spend money on more important stuff.

i had 11lb. on mines and it made a difference.

Turn the boost up 1-2psi and you will notice a difference too.

running the 12lb ACT on my setup. daily driven and i love it. i think its a good balance of fast spin up but not too fast when it comes to spin down

I got the 11 or 12 lb steel one from lsd and i like it. Its not that expensive and its brand new and you rev faster, so why not? If you're replacing the clutch anyway, you won't need to have your flywheel resurfaced because its brand new do it. Plus if you sell it to a ricer down the road, saying it has a lightened flywheel is like saying it has jdm turbo rocket boosters. probably a solid $2-3k on the asking price
