Default kitting questions

Alright. Newbie here, be gentle. I'm kitting a turbo setup.
This is for a 98 Accord F23a SOHC. Only a few more pieces missing but I'm stuck.
I have 3 questions.
1. I have a dsm sidemount IC. I would like to put it where the stock intake resonator is. Good idea? bad idea?
2. I need charge piping! How have others done it? Just eyeball which bends I might need?! bonus question: what's the HMT secret to getting a great deal one a set?
3. I need a downpipe! Looks like I'll need to get one fabricated. How have others done this? Am I going to have to drive to a shop, take off my current exhaust manifold, put on the turbo manifold and have them fabricate it there...then put it all back together? Seems like a lot of work. What have you all done? Is it a matter of eyeballing also?

Thanks for any tips/suggestions.

I'm also looking for:
injector clips
BOV with flange (specifically a DSM one...boosting <10 psi....ha!)

I'm nearly done:
T3 Super 60 internally gated
Stealth oil line kit
Some bum f23a1 turbo manifold - hopefully keeps a/c and p/s otherwise gonna have to find another.
DSM sidemount IC
AEM EMS (still trying to get it idling with stock setup :P )
AEM wideband
used oil pan
DSM injectors and resister box

I'm itching to get this thing done.

yea that sidemount will work but a front mou nt would be more affective but if u dont have the money dont worry abiut it . and charge piping will run you about 60 to 80 bucks on summit racing and i just eyeballed mine when i fabed mine up. you could just get mandral U bend and make your own witch is like 23 bucks for 3'' and thats what i went with or else you will probably have to go get one made and that will be pretty expensive so its up to you and your skills good luck
