another question. is the oil/water lines, i have been searching. and i cant figure out wich is is inlet and wich is outlet. as for the water lines the most i have come up with is "---- them you dont need them"

should i use the water cooling? or just cap them?

and as for the oil, wich is in/out?

the water lines dont care what direction the water flows. either direction is fine.

the boost at the actuator is probably around 5-7psi. almost all stock turbo cars have some sort of ecu boost control that raises it to what it needs to be.

::EDIT:: i just noticed you said oil too. the smallest hole is oil inlet and the biggest hole is oil outlet, the rest are water

ok thanks man. i was wondering to..since i got you in this thread and you seem pretty smart. would i be better off keeping the internal waste gate, or welding the flapper shut and running a external?

yea, hook up some sort of a a vacum to the nipple obviously.. but whats the ideal way to do this.
the words vacuum and pressure are not interchangable. The wastegate works on pressure, that's what you test it with, and some kind of an air gauge that will read down into the single digits.
The oil really goes in at the top of the chra, so that it can drop straight out of the bottom from gravity, and then back into the oil pan.
The water lines don't care about direction of flow.

also you know with this turbo either you are going to have to either rotate the center section or build a top mount manifold for it becuase the oil drain is on the exhaust inlet side of the turbo

I'm with you brother, good welding is like artwork to me, and I'm not very artistic either. ---- it, I don't do own surgery either...mans gotta know his limitations.

ok cool just making sure you knew that before you made/bought a manifold for it then realized later it was up side down
