What is a common turbo that can be used on a 4.0 Jeep motor? I am only looking to make around 5-7 psi in the lower RPM range. I was thinking a turbo off of a GM 6.5? Or A HY35?

 

Welcome! One of the larger Holsets is likely to do OK on this motor for low boost.

 

I do have a holset HY35 I think needs some love but could be made to work, next question... With a turbo setup would lag affect crawling abilities? I would think not as the motor will be like stock when not in boost?

I wouldn't expect a lot of lag from an HY35.
