i resized your pic man, try not to make them so big. as far as cutting and hacking, it really depends on the car, but it should fit most civics very easily. gree91, where is your bumper support, things would have been a lot easier for you if you got the mounting tabs on the top ;) i didn't have to cut anything except for the plastic out of the opening on the bumper.

on the 5" core the tabs are on the end tanks..
to get it lined up perfectly for the front hole on my civic bumper im having to cut quite a bit out and is why the support isnt on yet, going to finish cutting/welding it today.. then cut the plastic on the bumper. what did you use to cut the plastic with? i want a clean edge so im debating on how im going to do it

well mine's only a 6 in, but the guy who makes mine gives you a choice if you want the mounting tabs on the back or top. i just used a dremel with a cutting wheel, then sand it down a little to get the melted plastic off, although i have used a steak knife before :P

4th gen's require an ass of cutting to get these intercoolers in there. If you've got an SI bumper then have fun with that, but I used an hf which is really small, you also have to hack up the bumper cover ALOT.

LOL, im starting to get scared!! Ill find a way to mount it somehow, i just couldnt resist 155 shipped for it, i actually stayed up until 5:00Am so that i could pay with paypal!! Shits been down for the past week it seems!!
Im so happy!! ;D ;D

Oh and i think that the 32x5 will be perfect for me, it seems like it sits perfect in EF's front bumper, and will flow probably more than enough air to it!

Where would I go about finding one of these taller ones?

I actually have a 4G Accord so what works on a civic isn't likely to work on an Accord. I didn't think an FMIC would make much difference, do you have any kind of ball park figure of the difference between the two designs?

I just got mine in the mail today. Quality looks good, my only bitch is the 6 mounting screws that are mounted to the top and bottom plate. I wish they weren't there.
