Default john deere turbo

friend of mine just picked up a john deere turbo that is freshly rebuilt for 25$!!!!!!
its a 84 a/r exhaust 60 a/r compressor. im pretty sure its a t4 and its a twin scroll.
ya think it would be decent on a b18. im thinkin top end would be hellacious but im worried about the
compressor side being small maybe? the compressor looks small compared to the houseing it is in.
i'll get pics if i can.

no its ceramic coated though. its a really nice looking piece that has a fresh garret rebuild. im ------ stunned by the price of it. im thinkin the kids dad works at the john deere place in town and his dad has a buncha ---- layin round the garage from the sounds of things.when my friend first told me about it he didnt know wat the ---- he was talkin bout and he was actin like he did and told me a bunch of wrong things about the turbo so i told him not to buy it. then the guy went down on the price so he grabbed it anyways. im glad he did lol.
im just not really sure as to hwo well the 84 60 will do on 1.8 let alone a 1.6 sohc like he has. but as i said the compressor wheel is small looking compared to my 48 60. just tryin to get some input but i really need to post pics.

I'm curious as to whether or not anything can be done with that...Maintenance had the 4450 pulled in the shop and tore down the other day, and I was checkin' out the blower on it...The compressor housing didn't look REAL big, but the exhaust housing sure as hell did...Zenice here on this site has like a Mack truck turbo on his 1.6, if that works out(does he know if it's goin' to yet?) then I don't see why that JD(ahem, Garrett) turbo wouldn't work as well...Of couse, that guy does have a built engine....
