i understand that they work the same, but the internal wg doesn't have a top port.

sure it does, normally its almost just a pinhole in em, it just vents the top of the diaphram, basically if it was sealed the diaphram wouldnt be able to move, and the valve would never open... so theres always an opening.
*on a internal, it would probably be on the bottom of the actuator, but same idea nonetheless*

i don't know. i set it up like that, but when i look at it. it doesn't look right. now my mbc is hooked up inline with the side port, but i still have a few things to finish before i can drive it.
