Circumstance
My unfortunate circumstance of currently living in California and having to get on and off base I have to make sure my vehicles stay street legal with emissions and all. We are subject to random vehicle inspections and all kinds of stuff most people don't have to deal with. The JK has 4 cats and multiple O2 sensors. That makes putting it under the hood an exhuast routing nightmare.

Already in development.....
Funny that you guys would pick a holset hx35 as that's what you're looking at.
I must say that while doing this I have more than once thought of scraping the project and making room under the hood for it somewhere. For now, it stays where it is.

haha didi you post it on LOST or JEEPKJ. in Case you didnt get it im KJ guy. when they designed the 3.7 the piston rings are way to close to the top of the piston. if you force any power into it then it will let go. they are great motors in stock form. We all want more power but the 3.7 in a KJ will get any job done. not sure on the piston design of the 3.8. hit me up if you want to talk kjs
